This course was designed to help teachers learn about the IDEA disability categories of eligibility for special education and related services. In addition to the legal definition of the 13 disability categories under IDEA, this course examines the causes and methods for diagnosing these disabilities and provides tips and instructional strategies that can help teachers to support the academic and non-academic needs of students with disabilities.
