This course is designed to show the relationship between classroom rules, district discipline policies, and the law. IDEA changes regarding the discipline of students with disabilities will be also discussed, including the impact of these changes on administrator decisions related to discipline. Additionally, an overview of behavioral intervention plans will be presented, and an explanation of how BIPs relate to discipline.
