This 90-minute course explores the components of and steps to developing a Section 504 Accommodation Plan. You learn the requirements related to physical facilities and strategies for removing barriers that may discriminate against students with disabilities. You also find out the requirements associated with academic and non-academic services and learn strategies for serving students who are Section 504 eligible. Plus, examples of case law show you the mistakes made by other educational agencies.
